Honda CBX1000Z 1979

This is a lovely totally standard CBX1000Z, originally delivered to South Africa. It was brought here in 2020 and then mechanically fully rebuilt by CBX guru Cary Knapton from The Supersport shed. The rebuild included engine cam chains, values, rings , clutch,  and carbs, also full rebuild of brakes and replacement of all cables and tubes. We bought the bike from Cary,  gave it a cosmetic make over, then sold it 18 months ago and have now bought it back from its owner who was finding it a bit too heavy. We given the bike a full service, brand new red paintwork, new replica exhausts , and restored clocks, with mileage now still showing only 500 miles since the engine rebuild. The engine has been checked fully and has excellent compression and starts and runs exactly as a CBX should, smooth, torquey and very powerful. This is a lovely CBX , that can be used every day or kept for show and those lovely sunny weekend days.
